Why do you work at the Hotel VICTORIA?
I applied at the Hotel VICTORIA in 2006, the job ad said, "You are the perfect housewife, enjoy dealing with people and have a good sense of decoration?" I was immediately attracted and was hired in July of the same year. Since then, I can't imagine working in any other hotel. Because of the size of the hotel, you know everyone, everyone is accepted as he or she is and has a say in most things. That is absolute appreciation for me when my boss asks me which furniture I would take instead of just acting according to her taste. I appreciate that very much. With my boss, the hotel and the team, I've had a stroke of luck.
What term for the Wall of Positive Energy do you choose for your everyday work?
My term is MINDFULNESS!
Mindfulness has to do with a lot of responsibility, to the staff and to the guests. Every day I am mindful in my job, I am responsible for a lot of things that I want to keep an eye on. Mindfulness cuts across a number of areas, whether it's the people I encounter every day or the cleaning supplies and furniture that are entrusted to me in some way as a housekeeper.
